Louka Hoogendijk (1993) is a Dutch director and screenwriter and studied at the dutch film academy. Her work focuses on exploring physical and nonverbal languages. She uses the human body, organisms and landscapes as intuitive dramaturgical elements in her stories.

Her debut short film Noor premiered at the Alé Kino International Film Festival and the Chicago International Film Festival. In addition, the film was selected for Cinematheque Passion's focus program for female Dutch filmmakers in Macau. In 2022, Louka made the short documentary Infinite Lines, which aired on national television and premiered at the Cinehill-Motovun Film Festival 2023.

 

Her most recent short film, Summer Souvenir, is produced by Family Affair Films and is part of best dutch short film selection by SEEnl.
